the Myers
Tuesday the 6th conditions were perfect.we fished from Boca Grande to the west wall of Charlotte harbor. every thing seemed to be going our way from perfect bait to a strong high tide but the fish just didn't want to feed. but we put our time in and ended up catching some mackerel and some nice trout." that's fishing for ya" as the temperature raises its only going to get better.

Lemon Bay Trout Fishing
The morning started off on the cold and windy side. I found some shelter on the backside of Rag Ally and picked up some small Trout and a couple of Lady Fish using a gold spoon. As the day progressed the conditions began to change in our favor. The temperature rose the wind started to lay down so we headed to open water where I found some nicer size trout. We had to work for them but it ended up being a wonderful day of fishing on Lemon bay

Top water Trout
"The morning fishing started off slowly. As the sun began to rise, so did the temperature. The fish responded. Not every cast was a fish, but there was plenty of action. I had the best luck by slowly fishing the edges of pot holes using Rapala Skitter Pop."

RAINY DAY ON BOCA GRANDE
Wow! What a difference a day can make. The rain clouds arrived early in the morning, and let loose by lunch time. The rain continued until dark, making it a good day to do "guide chores" ... changing hooks, ordering new tackle, and more of the stuff that makes a day on the water with a client go smoothly. All indications are that the weather the rest of the week will be better.

As the fronts moved by the day started off on the chilly side but warmed up nicely.
Found trout feeding in early morning using D.O.A. shrimp on a float in 3-5 feet of water and had some luck on redfish later in day using live shrimp around the oyster bars north of stump pass looks like tomorrow will be another great day .
